Closing household insurance

Hi, How/when do you close household insurance? Do you need to wait until the rental company returns your deposit or only until the removal company uplifts your stuff?

Re: Closing household insurance

Check your contract. Generally speaking, the earlier you give notice the better.

Standard conditions often mention a minimum duration, but if your husband leaves the country (i.e. you will stay) there will be a follow-on household within CH, won't there?

PS:
Try to post your question in one single thread please.

Cancel after you have your deposit back, then send your leaving cert & they will back date the cancellation. Household insurance costs nothing, don't get greedy.
