Shipping to the US - Delayed Send Date?

Hi everyone,

Question about shipping via Swiss Post. My partner and I are leaving Switzerland permanently for the US. We don't have very much to ship, just three boxes. We were going to use Swiss Post and just do the Post Pack International (economy) as it is the cheapest option we have found.

The problem is that we are leaving Switzerland and then travelling around for 3 weeks, so our packages will likely beat us to New York. Does anyone know if Swiss Post can delay the shipping date so they arrive after us? Is there another option I haven't found on the website?

Many thanks!

I don't believe they offer "delayed-shipping".

Why not turn the problem around and use a service in the U.S. which will hold your parcels for you.

A quick look online came up with Doorman who operate in New York. You send your parcels to them and then arrange to collect the parcels from them at a later date.
