Shared car transport to UK in April

Hi Everyone,
I am looking to find someone who may be driving back to the UK in mid April to help me transport 4-5 bags / suitcases back - anywhere on the UK side will do as can be met there - though M25 Jctn 9 / Guidlford area / South Coast around Portsmouth would be superb.
Happy to pay all fuel costs and Channel tunnel costs.
Please PM if able to help or are planning a return.
Thank you.
David.

That's what I was thinking, how does one handle all the customs stuff if you're carrying another person's belongings? Also who knows what border controls will look like come April.

Whilst checking in for a flight at Bruxelles Airport many years ago, a fellow traveller asked could we check in his suitcase [and take responsibility for it presumably] with ours. With rather horrified expressions on our faces, we declined and he became very iffy. What, quite honestly, did he expect?

Agreed, would be better if David travelled with. Just brought back a huge bag and a massive Hang for a musician friend, from the UK- but he's been a friend for several years and I trust him entirely. He also told us we could open the bag, empty it and re-pack, if we wanted.

Aside from declining, I would have informed the airline and airport security.
