Shipping to Singapore

Hi All,

We might be moving to Singapore soon. Any tips on shipping etc.?

Currently considering these options -

1. DHL from Germany

2. DB Schenker

3. Moving companies like Welti-Furrer etc.

Self financed, hence the thinking

hans1 has become a little unpopular
Re: Shipping to Singapore

I'd use regular Swisspost, the receiving carrier, Singpost is quite good in our experience.

It's super easy to buy things in Singapore, and just can have (bulky things) picked up and delivered on the fly with apps like Gogovan, costing next to nothing. Just get Carousell installed and you can already have an idea of what things second hand cost: If you'd like to buy things used (the Singaporeans generally don't so used stuff is priced that way).

I checked Swisspost and it was nearly 1.5-2 times the price. So, wondering if there are other options.
