Leaving Switzerland to work after obtaining a passport

Hello, everyone! After living for more than 10 years in Switzerland, I知 finally getting my Swiss passport, the ceremony is in about a month. I was offered a job in South Africa and shortly after getting the passport, I知 planning to leave for some years to work there. I have so many questions, would be great if someone could help! For instance, how do I inform authorities about me leaving? Do I have to pay my insurance still? I don稚 own any real estate here, do I just cancel the contract with my landlord and I知 good to go?
If someone was in a similar situation, could you please guide me through the process of leaving the country after the Swiss passport has been obtained?

Many thanks in advance

If I were you I would simply go to the commune and deregister.
And then use the received confirmation letter to cancel all my contracts.
Why would the process be different for Swiss citizenship holders?

You simply de-register in your commune and use that de-registration for canceling your insurance, apartment, phone contract etc.
It's not any different if you were not a Swiss.

When my daughters' citizenships came through, there was a requirement to be resident in the commune for five years. Otherwise, citizenship may be revoked. Geneva may have its own rules.

After deregistering here, you will need to register with the Swiss Embassy in South Africa.

Yes ur right. But this is in the case before obtaining the passport
As if u leave the country right after obtaining it, am not sure how authorities see it. It shouldn稚 be a problem if u went thru the regular naturalization. Isn稚 it ?

But if you earned the citizenship thru a marriage, then this might be a big problem

You do not need to register with the Swiss embassy, unless you want to vote in Swiss votations.
