Pillar 2 extraction after living in CH for less than a year
I lived in Switzerland for under a year and have since moved to the UK. I am currently seeing if I can access my pension (2nd pillar that work and myself paid into). Can anyone shine a light on what this means:
You can obtain the cash payment of your entire vested benefits in one of the following cases:
....
Your leaving benefit is a negligible amount (less than the annual
amount of your personal contributions).
Because I only contributed 9 months of pension contributions, does this mean I could cash the whole thing out? Or does it have to be less than what I (minus my employer) would be expected to put in in a year?
Thank you so much in advance for helping me with this! Pensions are tough enough in your own mother tongue, let alone in another....
