Pillar 3/ Vested Benefits withdrawal when moving to UK

Hi, I left Switzerland 5 years ago and would like to cash out my Pillar 3 (balance of ~CHF 6k).

The UBS instructions are vague: "provide a photocopy of an official, signed identity document of the pension fund member. Documents in foreign languages must be submitted with a certified translation into German, French, Italian or English."

Does anyone know the acceptable 'certification' they want and where to get it in the UK? (Surely they don't need a copy of my passport translating?)

Also, it looks like post Brexit I can withdraw the full amount (+mandatory contributions), but it's unclear about whether they will apply a withholding tax. Apparently I may need to prove before payout that taxes on the capital have already been paid in Switzerland. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Many thanks in advance!

It will be taxed but only a couple of percent. Passport if UK shouldn't need translating. Yes you should be able to withdraw it all

There need your Swiss living cert & some proof you are living in the UK. Correspondence from HMRC, Council Tax in your name or whatever it called today, should work.
