Does anyone know of a cheaper way than swiss post for shipping books overseas?

It depends where to - there are often posts on here by people driving back to the UK and also several good value small haulage outfits.
It may pay to ask if anyone is driving to the country of your choice.

Hi I am also going to send all my books and somemore stuff to india next month...I just found that Swiss post will charge around 180 CHF for 30KG only thing is packing and all is extra money...

The cheapest option for packages is called ECONOMY PAKET in German.

USA is zone 3 in this list. Pre weigh your packages to get the right price/weight breaks.
