    Hi Jenny,

How are you? Hope you are well. Could you please advise me on some health insurance please.
I have been in Switzerland for 5 weeks. I moved here from Australia, but I hold an UK passport.
I dont have a resident permit as I am still classed as a tourist, and I have only just decided to stay in Switzerland.
What are my options in regards to health insurance? What do you best advise?

    Have a great day

    Hi Jenny,

I was told to ask you about healthinsurance questions.
I will be moving to switzerland from the US and need to apply for healthinsurance. I am used to HMO where I don't get a bill from the doctor. I was wondering if there was an insurance that gets billed by the doctor directly?
    Thanks for your help

    Hi Jenny,

I was wondering if I could pick your brain with respect to medical insurance....we are a family of four planning to move to the Lausanne area at the end of this year. One of my sons has been diagnosed with ADHD and is currently receiving medication in the form of Biiphentin. I am trying to find out what the situation is in Switzerland with respect to treating ADHD. Are medications covered by insurance? If so, how much would we expect to pay monthly for this coverage? Conversely, if medications are not covered by insurance, how much should we calculate on spending on his medications?

I don't mean to be wasting your time -- if this is not your area of expertise, please do not worry. Though I would appreciate any help/suggestions you might be able to provide.

    I Jenny,
I am also pregnant (8 weeks) and am moving to Zurich next week with my husband. I think we will want something more than basic insurance but don't know what option/company to choose. Can you help us?

    Many thanks,

    Hi Jenny

I have recently moved to Vaud with my husband and am 7 weeks pregnant. We took out AXA PPP expat insurance but I now want to purchase the basic swiss insurance as most of my pregnancy costs won't be covered by AXA. Are you able to offer any guidance as to which company would be the best. My swiss no is 076 542 6453.

    Many thanks
