Framing in Geneva

Hey all,

I have recently moved to Geneva and I need to find a framing shop in Geneva. I have a reasonably large canvas that I need to get fixed to a wooden frame. I have had quite a detailed look online and am struggling to find somewhere in the centre. Does anyone have any ideas? Realise itís a long shot.

Thanks,

Tristan

Nearly all the large Brico stores have this service, you choose the frame and type of glass, then they frame it for you. Migros Brico and Hornbach have the service, possibly Jumbo but not sure. If central Geneva, probably take train/tram to M-parc La Praille. Manor, in the centre, could also do it, but haven't seen it after their latest renovation.

Yeah, most of the brico places have a framing department, and there are a few framing shops in the centre of town. Truthfully, I just had a bunch of art framed in Canada while I was on vacation, as it was way, way, way cheaper to do it there.

Try the Yellow Pages (Encardrements), there are several listed near the centre of town. Note, Loretti has moved and is now at Route des Jeunes 91 in Carouge. 022 343 36 30. I've used them before and been very happy with the work. Not cheap though!

I once used, and was very happy with, the Galerie du Bouchet round the corner from Balexert. They seem to have closed down now. Has anyone any experience with these people in Carouge? Or any other suggestions?
