I wouldn't presume to tell you what would be the best watch for you. Each to their own as it were. I got my first Rolex a few months ago and and still very happy with it.
The one thing I would say is check the availability of the watches. I had to wait a few months for my 2010 model to arrive. That may decide whether to order it here or not.
Good luck and I look forward to seeing what you get,

I got mine about 10 years ago now, it's most like the first one on your list, simple and understated. The only problem with rolex is everyone will ask you if it's fake |

In any other country, I could understand this, but in Switzerland I simply assumed that no one would ever consider wearing a fake. If I see someone wearing a Rolex or carrying a Louis Vuitton bag, I just assume it's genuine.

Personally I like the look of the Oyster Perpetual Date watch BUT it is your watch, you will be wearing it and looking at it so you need to decide which one you like the best. Good luck with the tough decision. |

As said before, it is your watch, only you can feel harmony with it, every person have his own taste specially in watches.
Personal preference as a classic Rolex for me is: http://www.rolex.com/en#/rolex-watch...m116400gv-0001 |

I like the Oyster one too. Definitely better looking than the other ones. Do you sell/trade your watches, the Breitling one? Write me a PM if you do.

OP, I am personally a fan of the Oyster. But its your money at the end of the day, and its you who'll be wearing the watch on your wrist. Why choose something just because 20 faceless internet strangers like it?

Buy in the UK. It will be cheaper and you will get treated better at the store.
For official prices just go into the store and ask for the catalogue and official price list.

I bet he would have never been able to work that out for himself ...
All three look like the sort of watches 60 year old board members wear. The only one who can choose the correct one for him is Mr OP - hence my post re he should be brave enough to make the choice himself. After all, he managed to decide he needed a Rolex ....

I don't actually remember him asking for opinions on what watch he should buy and was rather just posting which ones he's thinking of before someone asked, 'So which one are you going to get?'

Going by most responses to this post, it would seem that the englishforum has a very comfortable set of readers!
Hope none of them get upset rubbing shoulders with a peasant, but I wear a Tissot (Fr. 150.-) & I am still able to keep my appointments on time!
