A good jeweler for resizing my ring

I was gifted a nice(expensive) ring by my hubby dear but it is a couple of size big and want it resized, could anybody recommend a reputed (trusted) jeweler in Zurich and how long would it take for it to be done.

Any suggestion/references are welcome...thank u all

Hi bindu, cant your husband take it back to the original jeweler where he bought the ring from to have it resized? My husband had to do that when he bought my engagement ring in the wrong size. tut tut.

I also resized my wedding ring here in Zürich at Tiffany's last year only because I bought it from the branch at home - took about 10 working days. Not sure if they will do it for rings from other jewelers but its worth a shot asking? Sorry I cant be of more help.

Re: A good jeweler for resizing my ring

It's a very simple operation that 2nd year apprentices can do. Take it to any jeweler, it shouldn't take too long, maybe 10 days, less oif they do it on the premises.

Re: A good jeweler for resizing my ring

Today only - As you said it is a simple question and googling would tell any one that I hav to take the ring to the jeweler, but if you notices my post, I was asking for TRUSTED and I also wanted to know good or bad experiences.

As I said it is an expensive ring and I dont want to hand it over to some Tom,dick or harry and repent

Take it to any of the big ones on Bahnhofstrasse, Bucherer for example; you'll pay the price but have peace of mind.

By the way you very much misread my post, i said it was a simple operation to resize a ring nothing whatsoever to do with google !
