I wonder how most but not a small section of basel airport runway/taxiway would be flooded. I dont remember going up/down any hills in the plane...

Interesting article indeed, Mr Bertrand. The altered Google maps seem like somebody has spilled some conditioner all over them. This should be cause for alarm, especially to inhabitants of the larger cities.

Hopefully the nuclear bunkers, gold vaults and cheese cellars are all watertight so that the country retains its value to foreign investors even in the face of natural catastrophes.

Almost the entirety of the lower Seeland area (Between Biel, Murten and surrounding areas) would permanently be under water if it wasn't for the extensive water level controls employed between the 3 lakes (Biel, Murten, Neuchâtel).

Similar to all the maps which we saw in the military in case the dams were breached. You'd be amazed what the price of flippers would be on ricardo if that ever happened.
