Giving away 2 packets of Pampers - Zurich Schlieren

Pampers Baby-Dry size 2 (mini 3-6kg / 6-13lb)

74 nappies / diapers per pack

40CHF for the two packets

Re: For sale 2 packets of Pampers [Schlieren, ZH]

Wow.....

Just take them back to anywhere who sell pampers and exchange them for the next size up.

How many idiot fathers, me included, have bought the wrong size pampers !

(you probably paid Chf 60.-- but got 3 packets, the Coop regularly have an offer for 3 packets, but pay only 2....)

For that, I have no idea how is the exchange here. We buy ours in Germany because they are so much cheaper. And everytime we stucked with some on our hands, we gave them to charities... It help a lot
the people who can't afford them here.

Thanks Nil - that's a lovely idea. I don't know any kids' charities here. Do you have any names?

No point in us exchanging them anyway because baby is in cloth nappies now.

I can't help you with names in your area! Sorry!

I am very glad you like the idea! I give a lot of our old clothes to those charities in Basel, they have those huge green bins where you can drop the clothes in. Maybe you can check to give the pampers to an organisation who helps single mothers or violented mothers. They too often leave their home with their kids, no money and not much on them either.

Best wishes!

If in Zurich, you might get a Texaid plastic bag in your mailbox and use it to drop it off into any Quartier Sammlung ( clothes collection point ) nearby.

Re: Giving away 2 packets of Pampers - Zurich Schlieren

Thanks all. We've contacted the Salvation Army / Heilsarmee at Harbruecke http://www.brocki.info/zuerich/ to see if they want them.

I'll post an update when we hear back in case anyone's interested in whether they take these things...
