Happened to walk by it the other day, never knew it was there, probably as it is a bit off the beaten path. Didn't go in, but looking through the window they seemed to have a nice collection of english books, for what it is worth.

well when mommy and daddy love each other very much and decide they want a baby they hug each other in a very special way, and then 9 mnths. later a stork comes and lands on the roof with a special delivery made from snips and snails and puppy dog tails*

*no actual animals were harmed in the making of this baby.

Cool, then I can shag a girl without the fear of having a baby if I don't love her ?

More seriously, one of my British Correspondent is a young single mother and some times we talk about babies (my only experience being I took care some times of my nephew when he was a baby)

Re: Nyon : bookshop French and English

This is a lovely shop, with a small but carefully selected number of kids' books in both languages. Great for birthday party gifts and such. I found it the same way, sort of nosing along in Nyon after saturday market.

Re: Nyon : bookshop French and English

It has been around for a while now, they also do a Sat morning reading for kids, which one has to sign up for, get on their mailing list. The don't do them regularly. Books are lovely, there is a little reading and playing corner too, they are helpful and willing to order. Very expensive, though, which is probably expected, with books and all..They theme up their window for every holiday, season, etc. It's fun.
