I think they're like little Mexican jumping beans with faces and they're for kiddies to collect (don't know if anyone remembers getting Pogs in their Wotsits...).

It is something else to add to the daily dose of parental guilt .. along the lines of
8 year old: "can we go shopping to Migros to get the Nanos please?"
Me: "no you know I always go to Hiebers for my shop"
8 year old: "but everyone in my class is collecting. I'm the only one who doesn't have any"
Me: "No. I will not be a pawn in Migros' evil marketing master plan"
8 year old: "Please Mummy, please please please ..."
Go to Hiebers as originally intended. Feel progressively more and more guilty. Dip in by Migros on the way home and stock up on "essentials" (bin bags, loo paper etc) to get him started. Son delighted. For all of one evening. Next day,
8 year old "can we go shopping to Migros please?" ..........
PS I could tak them off your hands if they're troubling you ...

I have a Nano Mania Maniac at home. | | | | | @Verbier - I can send you what I have as well if you want? You were one of the kind and generous EFers who helped me out so much with OceanMania and which, by the way, I am still in recovery from .
Even though it was very worthwhile and fun collecting the OM stickers etc for my friend's child and for the charitable project that ensued, I have no intention of going completely bonkers as a result of this one and am happy to pass on the Nanos as fast as I can! | Quote: | | | | | I like collecting mine and then passing it on to the next kid in the shop. | | | | | @Oldhand - That sounds like the way forward for me too.

I'd give you mine but I really can't resist the pleasure of seeing kids eyes light up when an unexpected Nano comes their way.

| | Re: Migros- Nano Mania??
This was actually mentioned in the latest Migros publicity.
Migros marketing man replied "As children we played with similar games and diden't swallow the pieces. Nanos have an age guideline on the packet and parents should know which children are at risk and should not have them." Loosely translated from the French.
Having said that I think my 11 year old nano maniac should be OK (seems to be able to cough them up Ok ) and if anyone has any spares he would be happy to take them off your hands. We have quite a few doubles already if anybody is interested. | Quote: | | | | I've never seen such a perfectly designed choking device.

Wait for Migros to open clubs all across the country and give these away inside the clubs. They will not be made out of plastic... |

Anyone else giving these away, would gladly take them of your hands. Been to Migros a few times recently but didn't quite spend 20chf and my son would love a few of these.
