I think they're like little Mexican jumping beans with faces and they're for kiddies to collect (don't know if anyone remembers getting Pogs in their Wotsits...).

It is something else to add to the daily dose of parental guilt .. along the lines of
8 year old: "can we go shopping to Migros to get the Nanos please?"
Me: "no you know I always go to Hiebers for my shop"
8 year old: "but everyone in my class is collecting. I'm the only one who doesn't have any"
Me: "No. I will not be a pawn in Migros' evil marketing master plan"
8 year old: "Please Mummy, please please please ..."
Go to Hiebers as originally intended. Feel progressively more and more guilty. Dip in by Migros on the way home and stock up on "essentials" (bin bags, loo paper etc) to get him started. Son delighted. For all of one evening. Next day,
8 year old "can we go shopping to Migros please?" ..........
PS I could tak them off your hands if they're troubling you ...

Anyone else giving these away, would gladly take them of your hands. Been to Migros a few times recently but didn't quite spend 20chf and my son would love a few of these.

Right - I have got one of the things and am dying to take it apart, find out what's inside - but I can't bear the thought it might be the very last one some poor expatlet needs to complete her collection and be the envy of all her little schoolmates.
So I've had a brainstorm - I'll describe the little choking hazard delightful little oddment here, and if any EFer's kid is desperate for it I'm happy to send it, or exchange it for one he has duplicates of, or whatever.
So here goes: it's bright blue and roughly pill-shaped, square white eyes with crossed red pupils, straight-line nose and a square wave for a mouth. Some kind of robot then, I'm guessing. The code on the side is "R7 R-x-R" if that helps.
Let me know! If I don't hear from any of you, I'll smash the thing sometime this weekend and report back what's inside.

Either that or there's an abundance of mercury in CH - have your rubber gloves at the ready.

All speculation though (and somebody PMed me for this one, so I'll have to wait till the next Migros shop to find out...)

Also try leaving them scattered on a table in the evening, by morning you will find them perfectly lined up staring at you with dead, nano eyes.

Did you know they created an "nanomania" application available on i-Tunes. There is also a facebook page to visit.
Check-out the "on-tour" calendar on their website ( http://www.nanomania.ch/de/) and make sure you don't miss the action and fun of swappings Nanos.
Gosh, I'll be happy when this promotion is over!! I hate to think what the next one will be?!?
