Thank you all for your replies. Ja, sounds like just a case of presenting my case, politely ...... Will try and aprehend the ladies while they are tending their vegetable garden down the border line, and make my case known.
We usually have a good relationship, so I hope it all works out well (to my advantage  . It`s just the husband of one of them who is an aggressive looking sort and he is the one who does the strong arm cutting. But stilll, if this is the order of the land, then so be it, huh?

A bit like people with kids attract other people with kids, dog owners to dog owners etc.
You never know, they may even offer to do it themselves.

Well ... blow me down and tar me with feathers!
You cannot imagine what happened today!
I went out, this morning, to continue my bush trimmings ...... and I heard a chainsaw......
The surly old guy had a professional Gardener there ... and they CUT DOWN THE ENTIRE BUSH!
And I had not even said ONE word about the subject yet!
I put it down to my Witching Powers - they are getting stronger and stronger by the day as I grow older ... according to my Grandchildren, who now treat me with a lot more respect than they did yesterday ... they had heard me discussing the bush/neighbors story with their parents last night.....and today the bush is gone!  | | The following 7 users would like to thank smoky for this useful post: | |

I`m just waiting for the Full Moon phase to try out a broom I bought at Landi today. (most yupppies think those are ornamental brooms!)
