It happens that I have to come to Geneva for 3 nights for work. I just bought tickets but cannot find an accommodation! Where should I have a look?! Thx in advance EF!

You can't find any hotel accomodation? Is that the problem?

It was difficult, now I have a little hotel in France!! But all more or less suitable hotels are fully booked!

Define 'more or less suitable', esp regards Geneva.

Have a quick look now there are rooms available (from today) starting in price from CHF294.

It does state though that it is busy in Geneva at the moment so prices are higher than normal.

worked for me in Geneve on several occasions.

I guess Dr.Alice is visiting Geneva while there is an important trade show at Palexpo or a big UN conference taking place. It can then be very difficult to find accomodation in Geneva. One option is to look between Geneva and Lausanne (only 30min train).

When I was looking I went to google search, bookings.com, expedia.co.uk..any hotel within medium range prices were booked as I understand I need a hotel from tomorrow. I was panicking!

Next time will try the links you gave and plan in advance (though difficult with work!)

Could also try bnb.ch....if you don't need a hotel but tomorrow might be a problem unless you call them and ask.
