| | Coming from UK? [food items delivery needed]
I would like to get a certain eatable for my kids from UK. It has to be purchased by visiting ASDA and is not available online. Pls PM me if - - Any body is coming from UK in the coming weeks (2 - 3 weeks).
- Any body visiting UK during the weekends.
- Or even if anybody can send it over from UK via post, courier, parcel or any other mode of cheaper transport.
I can pay you in GBP once you let me know the total cost incurred when I get it (transferring to your UK A/C) or pay in CHF while collecting.
Thanks in advance for your responses.

History in this forum has shown that for every 2 valid or helpful comments there are atleast 3 or more opinions...And the thread takes a turn...

Kevlegs was only trying to be helpful, you were a little short in your answer.

I am sure if you read my response to Kevlegs helpful response, you will find it has been adequately answered....
Let me repeat, my query was very specific. Hence I prefer the answers to be right up it... The response from "Zyxel" was relevant to the topic.. and after that the thread is being taken to a different tangent...
Guess now that you have had your "Thanks" a " Groan" is up my alley ... | This user groans at awdhil for this post: | |

Just trying to help 'is all and my wife makes regular trips to the UK.... | | | | | This statement makes a difference as it is closely relevant to point 2.
I am sure your will agree that your initial statement (first post) was completely different...
And thanks for the luck....

Guess now that you have had your "Thanks" a " Groan" is up my alley ... | | | | | Trying to be helpful and offering what was supposed to be sound advice on the original topic is not going off on a tangent.
You may want to be a bit more affable if you are looking for others to go out of their way to help you. Just my opinion.
"pls keep it comin"? Are you inviting confrontations?
Were you expecting a groan just because someone thanked a post? We don't all groan for the sake of it here. You ahould have learned that.
At least each new comment will bump your post...

I have pallets both chilled and ambient coming from the UK once every 3 or 4 weeks and there is an Asda just up the road from our UK warehouse. There is always room for extra stuff.
So, what is it, and how much of it do you want?

Guess now that you have had your "Thanks" a " Groan" is up my alley ... | | | | | All I see is a snarky attempt to have things shipped, not saying what, not titling the thread in a way it would remotely hint it is about a food delivery, etc. No need to start stepping on those who actually considered offering help, is there...and justifying it with a vague "this forum makes me this way". Posters have shown nice dose of patience here.
So, OP, I am going to edit the title, and you are kindly asked to stop giving people attitude. Thank you and hope you find your delivery guy a.s.a.p., to your and your kids' satisfaction.

Guys..Chill... I was requesting a response - something simple and straight...Someone offers me something not connected. I said if that was what I wanted I would have asked the same...
So where is the question of having offended the person here. And where is attitude cropping up here...
And I have Efer's ganging up on me saying the person is trying to help...
If I understand my basic English (or in any language) 'Help' is something which directly relates to what you seek or atleast indirectly but leading you to the same direction.
@Kevlegs: Thanks for the point on bumping the post. Was not on my mind.

Sorry, but who exactly is ganging up on you? You ask for something to be brought back from a UK supermarket and someone asks what it is - seriously, it might already be available here, indeed I might even stock it myself. I can only see helpful questions and suggestions from EF members here and a slightly rude response fom you.
Chill indeed.
Now, let me know what you need and I will try to help.

And I have Efer's ganging up on me saying the person is trying to help... | | | | | This is getting little too wordy and too far from the original topic. I think people objected to your ways of "requesting response" aka asking for help, what we normally call it.
So, here is a thread on using relevant thread titles. If the tone continues, I will close the thread since you only want to communicate through PMs, anyways.
