| | Cigarettes. Please Help!!
Does anyone know where I could buy Mayfair Cigarettes, in either Zurich or Zug.
Tried many places, and no shops seem to sell them.
Would be great if anyone could help me.
Cheers. |

Welcome to the forum. How about posting an intro?
BTW, why not contact Mayfair direct and ask if they are available in CH?

I know for a fact that they are sold in duty at Zurich airport.
But not in any shops.
Wouldn't Mayfair direct just tell me if they are sold, not which shops.

You are out of luck , a UK brand , from a UK company, selling them in Spain, Germany and the UK. They have no official offices or distributorship in Switzerland.
You can get them online though. http://uk.tobaccoonline.co.uk/produc...?pid=7948&sm=S
Who happen to be based in Switzerland
Tobaccoonline
BCB Bachstrasse 1

That's what I thought was a bit strange,
How they're based here in switzerland, but don't sell them here!
Guess i'll have to order them off the internet or book a flight somewhere, to get them from duty free.

The thing is that there aren't many online tobacco stores that are based in switzerland. I don't know any off the top of my head. And shipping the cigarettes back to the US, you would have to pay such a high tax on them. Better off booking a really cheap flight and buying duty free, however you're limited to 200 per person.

I'm a newbie too and I'm looking for Silk Cut in Zurich. Anyone? There must be a shop here that sells foreign cigarettes!
Looks like a trip to Luxembourg or even Germany may be in order. I know several shops in Frankfurt that began stocking Silk Cut in 2010 so surely they've reached Switzerland by now?

but maybe you will find a little store who imports them themselves??? You never know...

No recommendations for cancer sticks. You'd be better off without them.
Glad to see all the responses supporting your habit though, real nice of them.

Let's see how long it takes for them to arrive (or if they do at all).

With the price of UK cigarettes, it would almost be tempting to offer to buy (and send) a carton of a UK brand in exchange for two Swiss ones (assuming the prices are still about half of the UK price).

WHy would you want to buy one of the cheapest and nastiest brand of cigarettes from the UK, in a palce where the good brands like Marlboro Lights etc cost considerably less than the UK? Does not compute. |

We all have our vices, and many things in life that people commonly enjoy aren't good for you, including overeating and infidelity. Get off your high horse, no-one wants to hear (or cares about) you preaching about smoking just because you don't find it agreeable.

Sorry, but looking down your nose with an oh so superior attitude isn't what this thread is about, rrs. Get off your high horse and preach elsewhere. It doesn't belong in this thread, regardless of what you think about someone's tobacco addiction or not.
