Clothes shops - Lausanne area

Will be in the Morges / Lausanne area in a couple of weeks, my fiance is already working in Morges and I am joining her.
The removals guys have already packed our stuff and it turns out I have a few more clothes than I thought!!
Will be getting rid of a load prior to travelling but wondered what the standard of clothes shops were in Lausanne area as I will need to buy a few things!

They are fine in Lausanne; a wide range of brands and quality.

Yes the shopping is fine, some really nice independent shops, some department stores, and some of the usual chains you find throughout Europe.
With regards to getting rid of your excess clothes, I think it depends on your spending power here in CH. I'd say be careful what you choose to lose (if you are budget minded), particularly if you are looking to buy the equivalent again here at a later date. I still regret some of the clothes I bagged up and gave to a charity shop in the UK before we left. And worse, I winced at the price of the equivalents I ended up buying here!

Thanks guys and girls, I did the same thing, gave away a load of stuff to thin out the suitcase and probably will regret it, but then again I tend to hang on to some shirts till they are literally falling off so it was a good chance for a clearout!
