I am struggling to find a trade supplier for interior fabrics in Switzerland (or even a store that has a broad range of fabrics at reasonable prices). Does anyone know if such a thing exists? There seems to be a really poor selection of interior fabrics on offer compared to what you can find in France and England. I have searched for online suppliers too but to no avail....every other country but Switzerland!

Switzerland is a much smaller market than the UK or France. If you can't find what you are looking for you may have to go the the UK or France or online. I often by fabric online (or did when I was in CH).

Have you gone through the yellow pages and found all the fabric stores in your area?

There is a store in Etoy that has some lovely fabrics and a large selection. It's in the commercial area near the Hornbach. Schilliger also have nice fabrics. Not sure how "reasonably" priced they are. Oh, how I miss Schilliger....

There is a decent interior decorating store in Etoy, http://www.heytens.ch/, perhaps the one Minimia was referring.

Thanks for the info Ittigen and Runningdeer. I knew about Heytens but I don't think they sell fabric by the metre. Will double check though in case I'm wrong.

Yes. That sounds familiar. I know they will do curtains for you. But I vaguely remember that they will also sell you the fabric too. I could be wrong. It's been a while.

If you go there used to be a lovely French style furniture shop in the same complex. Oh, Interio also sells fabric by the meter, Ikea too (obvio). But I'm guessing you hit the big ones already.
