I too find Swiss women unapproachable and would be interested to hear if anyone knows to the contrary.

Maybe I'm just an insolent prick..but I wouldn't be with a woman who'd have to impose her ways/views upon me. In addition, if I'm with someone, it's because the person and I have a common understanding of matters and won't come to disagreement over major issues.
Disagreeing and differences of opinion are fine and, I think, quite healthy in a relationship, otherwise it becomes a bit of a drudge if you are always in agreement (those sort of people wear matching jumpers, don't they? ).

Putting your point forward then reinforcing it with a kick in the stones normally keeps a relationship interesting.

Yes, particularly when followed by make-up sex.

very.

the basis is this, in general, swiss people consider themselves superior to the foreigners, for a number of reasons.

when they have a swiss-swiss relationship it is let's say "normal".

But when they look at foreigners, then the "jinetero" relationship kicks in.

so they look for foreigners only when they , first, like their culture, and second then only pick the ones they perceived as to have the adequate level to be an acceptable partner.

So that translates to get women or men that are younger, stronger, smarter or cooler than what they could get on a normal relationship with a swiss partner.

Also they know and use the control they know they have over their partner because he/she obtained a permit throgh them.

the partner also should know this, but many don't BTW.

Re: Swiss German women.

Lol that is very funny. I am actually a Swiss woman I live in England and Switzerland as well. Just using the profile from my friend, to answer. i couldn't resist as i saw this. Swiss woman in general not bother too much about things. I have to say Swiss men are very lay back, in Switzerland a relationship doesn't have much worth unfortunately. The few Swiss friend I have they are couples, they live together with separate bedrooms etc.. So my answer and experience is the most relationship Swiss have with each other would called friendship in UK cheers Miriam

Well, that is an interesting post! Is that why you spend time in the UK? And it may go some way to explaining the preference of so many Swiss men for "jinetero"

Yes, I think so. However, do these nationalities fit the prerequisites that you mentioned in your earlier post, ie:

"so they look for foreigners only when they , first, like their culture, and second then only pick the ones they perceived as to have the adequate level to be an acceptable partner.

So that translates to get women or men that are younger, stronger, smarter or cooler than what they could get on a normal relationship with a swiss partner."

Re: Swiss German women.

I just said to my partner's family that she is with me because she wants an Aussie perm res visa, like all the rest of the foreigners.. and she is lucky that I don't mind spending a few years in switz to see if she is worthy. It usually cuts the arrogantism down a fair bit

Arrogantism.. I think I just invented a new word.. Like Sarah palin, maybe I can run for US pres B)
