This is a very unusual request...but I am quite sure there are forum members who can help out...

My cousin (Australian) works in Vanuatu in a joint project with the Australian government, supporting sport development.

He has emailed me to ask if we can help to find free accommodation (blleting style) for three ladies who form the Vanuatu olympic beach volleyball team. They have their eyes set on the London Olympics, and to qualify they have to compete at the following World Tour events:

Gstaad, Switzerland, 2-9 July
Klangenfurt, Austria 31 July to 6 August
The Hague, Netherlands, 21-28 August,

If we have any beach volleyball players/fans, or people with connections to Vanuatu, or would be prepared to offer free accommodation (as you can imagine it's a shoe-string budget), transport, or help in any way, please PM me.

ahh would love to help but not sure in what capacity, I love beach voll and have family in New Caledonia vanuatu's island neighbour but Im in Geneva. Where is the event

They are in Gstaad 2-9 July.

I am not sure if they are coming through Geneva or Zurich. I will try to find that out ASAP.

The team are arriving via Geneva.

If anyone living around the Montreux area, with good connection to public transport (Gstaad) - would like to host these ladies for one week - I'm keen to hear from you - there are three - the coach is Australian (english-speaking) and the two team members speak english and french. They are happy to sleep on mattresses on the floor, and can cook themselves if necessary.
