Elsa Mattresses, any recommendations?

Hi

We are thinking of buying new mattress. Any one with any experience with
http://www.elsaint.com

They are a local Swiss company and Mattresses can be bought through any apotheke and they offer 30 days free trial. If you like it you can keep it otherwise return it for very minor charges. The Matresses are Memory Foam as I understand.

Anyone with prior experience or any recommendations?

Timpy

I got one and is really good. Got so used to it, find difficult to use the other bed. They sent me some discount vouchers. I will see if I can find them and how much they are. You can go for a real 30 days trial. You are invoiced only after you confirm.

Let me know if ou have more questions.

Re: Elsa Mattresses, any recommendations?

hey timpy, thank you very much for your quick answer!

i'm seriously thinking of testing that mattress (free for 30days)... but the price kinda makes me wonder if they can be that good... on the other hand, we spend around one third of our lives in bed, no place more important, saving money there is outright stupid...besides, my back is literally aching for improvement.

but is it really worth that money... I mean, its foam, right? 3000.- for some foam? also, one prevailing opinion on matresses is 'the more nature the better'...

what also worries me is that I cannot find much independent information on their product, reviews, customer reviews...
how did you find out about them?

maybe this is the rolls royce and there's same performance for less?

oh, and did you find those vouchers?

have a nice weekend, best regards, phil

I have had one for 18 months and highly recommend it. Perfect if you have back issues.

I don't like Elsa pillows by the way. I like Sanapur pillows. Much softer.

Re: Elsa Mattresses, any recommendations?

I find that the majority of Swiss mattresses just seem to be plain foam with indents of plastic and hollow gaps.
When you look at the price of them for foam they are astronomical.

I agree that one should spend a lot of money on a mattress because you spend basically a third of your life in bed.

I originally bought Tempur when in the UK which seem to be acknowledged as the best but very expensive: http://www.tempur.ch/

However, since then, I found a mattress supply with exacatly the same properties as Tempur but about 50% less or even less if you wait for the sales which are 50% of the year (just ended). I have bought 5 matresses from them so far. They are UK based but are now exporting to Europe.

After reading this and being in dire need of a new mattress, I bought an Ergoflex. I called on the last day of the sale, and they agreed to honour the sale price if I ordered within the next 7 days, which I did.

They removed the VAT and sent it with TNT, took only 2 days to arrive.
Cost including delivery to Basel was 600. Import duty and TNT/Swiss Post charge this end CHF85. Very simple.

It's a great mattress!
