I am a founder and president of an NGO in my country. I would like to co-operate with Swiss NGO-s and foundations. In this regard, I would like to get some information about non-profit, non-governmental organizations in Switzerland, in particular in Geneva. How to begin and with whom can I contact firstly?

Did you perhaps mean specifically the bodies and organizations within the U.N. (in Geneva)? But then, you would have searched for 'international' NGO's? Amnesty International has a presence here in Switzerland too.
A search on the yellow pages (Gelbe Seiten) www.local.ch by using Keywords 'Menschenrecht' or 'Droit de l'homme' provides you with a small list of such foundations and NGO's.
