What I am wondering is what are the prices for A level tuition fees? I am mainly looking in Geneva, I have found this tutor website but the prices are very expensive which is 120frs per hour and this is a lot.

I am aware of the british school in Geneva but the problem is that I am trying to apply in it and I have sent them their entry tests and still waiting for their reply, though if I get rejected I would still have some back up.

Can't help you much .. I did my AEB A levels 25 years ago back in Asia, never had tuition and got through all 4 subjects within a year ( Law and Sciences ) - school fees no more than CHF2,800 including exam fees.

Well I can't say anything since I wasn't born 25 years ago.

though I know that switzerland is expensive and 2800chf only covers like a month of private tuition 3 hours per week. Which in my opinion it isn't enough since I am going to do English lit, french, either history or psychology. Nowadays A levels are tough doing them in one year it is very overwhelming ( thats what they are telling me ) since I really would like to do it in one year because if I do it in 2 years I am kind of loosing a year and all my peers are going to go to university since I had a slight problem with my school last year which actually made me loose a year and now I have to suffer the consequences.

It is rare to find cheap and Switzerland within the same sentence.

Well I also have another place I want to go which is malta and there will be slight chances anyone knows anything about it here.

No idea about Malta, but I would consider the UK.

The only thing about UK is that its tuition fees are even more expensive then Swiss... its averagely 15000 (£) which means 30000CHF...

Though I am still considering to go to a state school there or not since people told me its education isn't quite good.

I've been really stuck I guess I always have to struggle to get my life going.

Who told you education in the UK isn't good? Many would not agree with this statement. A'Levels though are indeed very different to Matura/Bac- including the range of subjects available.

In many cases that true, otherwise people would not pay for something that is free!

But now you're at an age and level of maturity such that the choice of school will (well, should) not determine the grades you get. If you are driven enough you will succeed no matter where you go to school. Don't assume that an expensive school guarantees you top grades, or that you won't achieve at a state school.

And by the way, I was state educated all my life, and it's not done me any harm.

Nope, it does not work that way. Many of the people I know sent their kids to private school because they were not good enough to succeed in State schools, or for social/traditional reasons. At my school we had an incredible array of students, from all races and family backgrounds, and many did really well. You'll find that many Universities now will actually favour students from State education, including Oxbridge.
Take medicine, as it was mentioned above. Medical schools in the UK will rely on your personal statement and your school tutor recommendation. They will look at your results AND at your personality, motivation and dedication, including time spent doing voluntary work, relevant or not, and success in other fields, like sport, music, politics, or whatever.
Medical schools may well assess that the limited social experience of some students educated privately throughout their lives does not prepare them well for dealing with the public. Admissions' tutors are extremely good at 'reading between the lines'.

Ye Olde school network still works in some fields, but can also be a negative in many other situations nowadays.
