Electricity Converter

Hi, I have an airbrush compressor 110/120v and I want to buy an electricity converter to use it in switzerland, all ready tried Media Markt but they only have the very expensive one
Media Markt said i can get a smaller one for this machine.
Can anyone tell me where else I can buy an affordable electricity converter?

thanks.

Re: Electricity Converter

Hi, you can find it very easy. In german it's called "Spannungswandler". A lot of bigger companies have it on stock. (https://www.distrelec.ch/ishopWebFro...annungswandler)

So would I

Depending on the motor design in the compressor you could have issues with the frequency difference; it is 50Hz 230v here as opposed to 6OHz 115v in the US. A simple transformer will step the voltage down but not convert the frequency, thus it won't run as it's designed to. Could be an issue....

Re: Electricity Converter

Thank you everybody, but I found out that a converter for a 110/120v compressor will cost me 300 Francs, so i just had to buy a new compressor about the same price
