People with complicated hair--good cut recommendations please

Since arriving in Zurich, I have not had any luck in finding a hair-dresser who can deal with cuts for fine, wavy hair. Can anyone with complicated hair recommend a cutter who is careful and skilled and modern?

I just paid 250 CHF for another awful hair cut at Toni & Guy that lasted about five minutes and included zero shaping or styling. Again. On other occasions at other salons, when I have asked for thinning, shaping, or layering at the ends, I have ended up with steps and even a kind-of mullet.

I'm really not that vain--I just need a decent cut. I see people with fine, wavy hair that looks good on the street. Where do they go??

Thanks!

CHF 250 for a haircut? Wow. I don't know any hairdressers, but hope someone else can help.

Oh! come-on. It can't have cost that much just for a cut.
Central Lausanne can't be too much different to Zurich, and I can get mine cut for less than half that.

Blow me down - 38CHF here. I hope someone can recommend an excellent hairdresser for you and a bit cheaper
