Second Hand Electrical Shops ????

Do they exist in Switzerland?

In London these shops are ten-a-penny, and so many great bargins can be had.

I am mainly after 80's & 90's HI-FIs, speakers and old skool dj mixers.

My current collection consists of about 40 different sets of speakers and i want to expand this. Also i am after any cheap large club speakers or pa systems.

Anyone know of any shops near Zug..........(i dont mind driving to Luzern or Zurich) as long as there are a few shops where i can have a look around.

And before anyone suggests; I do not want to buy from ebay type websites.

Half the enjoyment of buying second hand things is finding items by pure chance.

cheers
SC

I don't know how old this streetview picture is but I pass this intersection regularly
and if I remember correctly the shop next to this 'foto ernst' (the kindermobel shop)
is now a vintage hifi shop. Because I also remember there being vintage hifi
stuff in a shopwindow just around the corner on the Seebahnstrasse

Not around Zug but I know the HIOB (a brockenstube) in Bern has lots of old wifi equipment in their basement.

Re: Second Hand Electrical Shops ????

There are a couple places I pass on my way home that may or may not be of use to you. I can't remember exactly where they are but they are on the route of the 31 bus in Zurich between about Hardplatz and Sihlpost, on the left hand side when travelling in that direction. The first is a small shop that I noticed because it usually has a load of old televisions sitting outside. It looks like it sells old electrical items but I'm not sure if it's just TVs. The second looks like a more modern electronics store but I noticed the window display had a few old (collector) items mixed in with their new stock. Not sure if that is just window dressing and not for sale.

I'm not going home that way this evening but next time I do I'll try to remember to have a better look for you.
