Hi, I have recently moved to Basel and am attending a wedding at beginning of October back in the UK and have nothing to wear (of course!).

Can anyone suggest any places I can buy nice posh stuff locally? I have shoes, it's just the dress and hat I need.

Not that I know anything about womens clothes, but I suggest you cross the border. It's one thing the French do well.
