Appliance store in Konstanz?

We are looking to buy a new freezer and TV, and I think it would definitely be worthwhile making the trip to Konstanz as the prices there are a good 40% lower than in CH. Does anyone have a recommendation for an appliance store there? We have come across the MediaMarkt, but can't seem to find anything else.

Thanks!

You can try Elektro Maus for high end stuff like Liebherr or Miele. But they are a traditional electricians, so not open Saturdays or in the afternoon, and may have to order the appliance in for you (not that Media Markt always have everything to take away).

For TVs, they are the same (Euro plugs), for freezers, they differ. Costs an extra CHF 1 to get a replacement plug at Migros.

If you buy from a full service place, they can change the plugs for very little money.

Thanks for the advice! I wanted to use the 'thank you' button, but can't seem to find it. Excuse my rookie ignorance.

Until you have posted 10 times, you do not have access to a thank you button. I am sure the people appreciate your thanks as a post anyway.

You should also have a look at www.toppreise.ch It has all of the on-line dealers in CH (plus some German ones who deliver). It is easiest if you know what make and model you are looking for.
