I used to have two dogs. Plus I figured "One Man and His Dog(s)" could be a registered trademark.

I visited Jackson Hole, Wyoming, as a teen on a ski trip, and the run Corbets Couloir damn near scared me out of skiing ever again.

She took possession of me and I couldn't resist her so I became Sada.
I wouldn't mind using my first name but there are already three Jeannette's registered... a shame they didn't hang around though ...

Re: What's the significance of your EF name?

Although mine seems to have not much imagination (okay, it doesn't), it's a rebellion against the Swiss (+ German + whoever else does it) way of only referring to people by their surname.

What I learnt when I first came here:
Family line + Occupation = who you are.

Re: What's the significance of your EF name?

I have long been a fan of Calvin & Hobbes, and by using that reference in all my handles I feel connected to my past.
I have used it so much, that I have a couple of friends who even refer to me as Calvin.

Well I knew that, lol, as it would be very difficult to be both (sadly).
