Re: What's the significance of your EF name?

Guilty as charged... I have no imagination either :-). Still Czech... although not that much of a chick any longer. These damned years seem to fly by faster and faster ;-).

Re: What's the significance of your EF name?

When websites insist that you have to fill you a first & last name, I started putting Mini Cooper. It's a name right!? And yes, I was slightly enamored with my brand new Mini Cooper! Soooo cute!!!!

For most user names I mostly try to use just "mini" but a freakishly high number of them don't let you use only four letter words! What's wrong with four letter words? So I tack on Mia, which was my nickname with my besties which has now been resurrected to everyday use. I use it more than my real name. It's starting to get confusing though mixing friends who call me by my real name & those who use Mia. It's all EF's fault!!! Damn you, EF!

I think I might need Assassin to take care of one group or the other....

I REALLY want to change my user name to MiniMinion! Mods: Plz, plz, plz, plz, plz!!!!

Re: What's the significance of your EF name?

I applied for a job, knowing absolutely nothing about Switzerland. This place was the first result for most of my questions about living here. I eventually posted in introductions part way through the recruitment process, hence "fingerscrossed".

For what its worth, I've been here a little over a year now and am enjoying every minute (even the minutes where I complain about stuff in good humour). In fact, I'm going to reply to my first thread and thank those nice folk that welcomed me.

Distance is for the weak.

Hey, I found a Czech kiddie club near Bern. Embassy has the info. Kinda skolka, once a week, two groups, up to 4 and 4-6. I might actually drive over there..
