Anyone know a good hairdresser in Konstanz?

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I just need a simple wash and cut no restyle or anything.

Thanks.

I got my hair done at this place:

http://www.lago-konstanz.de/Accessoi...ur-zieger.html

Very convenient because it's located in the 'Lago' (shopping center with parking). Can be a bit busy on Saturdays. The hairdressers are quite young but well-trained. You don't need an appointment, just walk in and wait. They are located in the inner city too - more relaxed atmosphere there.

Re: Anyone know a good hairdresser in Konstanz?

you're welcome.

'Zieger Akademie' is the name of it. I highlight it because there are two different hairdressers at this shopping center. Just make sure you don't confuse them. A friend of mine went to the other one once - wasn't a good idea! Weird cut with a super short fringe.

Re: Anyone know a good hairdresser in Konstanz?

There's also a mighty cheap place next to the Karstadt in Downtown (I think in a square called Seigfriedplatz). It's split into two levels, bottom for women and upstairs for men. There's about 10 hairstylists working throughout the store. For men they do a wash and cut for 15 smackers. The quality is pretty decent, and I think they only do walk-ins, but it's popular and there's always a wait of about 15 min.

Good luck with the locks...

Re: Anyone know a good hairdresser in Konstanz?

Many thanks for the suggestions... Zieger Akademie were packed so I wondered around the streets and came across http://www.friseur-coco.de/ I thought I would put a review on here... well it worked on a first come first served no appointments system and I was told to join the line. Three people in front of me, so I thought as they had 4 hairdressers on the go it would be fairly quick. Two hours later (glad I had a book with me) my hair cut started. 25 mins later it was finished (wash, cut and blow dry) - 16.90 EUR. Cut was actually quite good (I was starting to doubt at the speed the scissors were flying around behind me ) 5 EUR extra for the straightners I was told. They are nice enough but it does feel a little conveyer belt in style (which I did not mind - I just needed a cut). I will go back but I would go at 8-9am and not 11am. My problem was that they had three people having colour treatments and so it was slow to get to my turn ....Combined with a bit of shopping and a lunch a good day out compared with paying 70- 100 chf here.
