EF Halloween?

Reading the thread of Halloween for kids in Luzern made me think why don't we have a real Halloween party with EFers? I really miss the parties we had back home, all I've been doing for the last years on Halloween was to entertain my kids and I would love to go somewhere and have fun myself!

I wasn't sure where to put this thread, so mods please feel free to move it.

Re: EF Halloween?

Hi!
I have never celebrated Halloween properly because in my country they dont think much of it.
Nevertheless, I was just thinking that it would be great to have a big party, where everybody around the world could come together and have fun!
So if anyone has good ideas I would like to also help. I know some good groupgames to play!
Let me know!

Greetings

Re: EF Halloween?

An international adult Halloween party would be fantastic! Hope there's one floating around or maybe we can start gathering people to get one together?

I'll keep eyes and ears peeled on other sites.

Well if we could have an adults only party that would be great. Maybe we can find a way to get the kids together somehow where they could have their own party?

I have downloaded Halloween coloring pages from Morecoloringpages website for my kids to decorate party hall. I am so excited to have a party.

Re: EF Halloween?

I would be interested in a family friendly Halloween party - my kids love Halloween and so do I. Family friendly doesn't have to mean sans-fun or sans-alcohol...I grew up going to Mardi Gras in New Orleans with my folks - not G rated and I turned out okay! Let me know if something gets organized

If we have enough beer, maybe we could do the adult party.

Re: EF Halloween?

The Swiss American Society do a 'trunk or treat' every Halloween for the kids. We are in Luzern and it was great for the kids. Everyone dresses up. Meets in a car park. The car boots are all decorated and lit up. Each boot contains sweets for the kids. The kids go from car to car - as they can't go from house to house! Not perfect, but a taste of the real thing! More details here http://www.sasl-lucerne.ch/events.php
