| | Developing digital photos?
Hi,
I tried searching the forum about recommendations where/with which service to develop digital photos. What I saw were many photographing related threads, so there has to be experience out there.
So, where do you develop your digi photos to tradional ones? Recommendations?
Cheers,
Pekka

I always use Photocolor Kreuzlingen online. They produce good quality prints, and often deliver them in under 48 hours from time of upload to time of delivery in my mailbox. Their website, and the software that you can use to help upload files, is even in English if you choose.

Apple provide a service if you have a .mac account, you can get books and all sorts printed but it does take time and its not cheap, depends on what you are looking for. http://www.apple.com/dotmac/ | This user would like to thank Thalwiler for this useful post: | |

Boots in the UK used to have machines that would accept all kinds of memory cards, you could then browse and choose the photos you wanted to print, and they'd come out there and then.
I thought I saw a similar machine at a Kiosk shop at the Emmen centre but I could be mistaken. I suspect they do exist here somewhere though.

I've also had good experiences with Photocolor Kreuzlingen.
Another web-based service is Fotopick.ch, they have a massive discount on their smallest format for students (accessible via studentenrabatte.ch).

I've been using Bonusprint (the UK firm) as they deliver to CH and the prices are still cheap as the P&P is quite low.
The delivery times are also within 7 days (I tend to receive them 3-4 days after I place the order).

I use http://www.photobox.co.uk and they're brilliant. Cheaper than what I've been able to find here, with quick delivery. They also run special offers all the time on different things, from prints, to photobooks, to canvases and large posters. Their website is pretty intuitive and easy to follow.
PM with your email address because I think if I invite you, we both get a couple of free prints.

Photocolor Kreuzlingen has a very good reputation and I've used them for professional stuff in the past.
For simple postcard snaps with a 48 hour turnaround, I use www.extrafilm.ch
For my work I use Prisma in Basel which is a Pro quality lab. (They were formerly known as AWP)
I've had a few nice posters done at www.posterjack.ch and the prices are great.
For quick postcard sized prints I use one of the machines found in larger branches of Interdiscount. You can upload from just about any memory card (although not for some reason from Memory stick) or by mobile phone via bluetooth or infrared. Prices are .50 rappen per print . Migros charges one Franc per print from the machines.
Hope this helps

We ended up testing the Photocolor Kreuzlingen online, so let's see if they can fix our terrible shots...
Thanks for the quick and usefull replies!

I just had some A4 prints done by Fotopick and and they turned out luvverly. Nice to see shots on paper again, and not just the home printer type. Foto pick has a chf1.30 fro A4 prints offer going at the moment, which is darn cheap. I remember paying chf15 for the same thing in film many years ago. http://www.fotofun.fotopick.ch/01_fo...r=newsletterfp |

For normal sized prints I use fotolaboclub.ch and have never had problems. For posters or canvas I shop around for a good deal from the many different sites to find a good deal.

Aldi UK charge £0.05 per print for 10 x 15 cm. This is the cheapest service that I have seen. I don't know if it is available in Switzerland, but I am sure it must be in Germany. https://www.aldiphotos-print.co.uk/?...97d663e42aeb&s=
