A friend of mine collided with the nearly lowered ramp on a truck. One door was sliced badly and the second had damage too. There were some old scrapes on the front right fender bumper.

A Swiss garage in Bern quoted CHF 2'900 for the 2 door repairs.

I took it to Lörrach last Tuesday, luckily they found a new door quickly, and I collected the car yesterday, beautifully repaired, including the bumper. Cost was € 1'215 about CHF 1'500.

Yes, although we already live in France so this does not apply to us, but our friend in W'thur always goes to Waldshut to have her dentistry carried out as well as having her car repaired at much lower cost than in CH.
