As part of the final stage of the 'new' Marin centre Media Markt are opening a store in Neuchatel.
The grand opening of this store is tomorrow (27th October) at 6am
Do you think they are expecting loads of people to go along there for the opening in the hope of bagging a bargain. Will there be some absolutely unmissable offers that make it worth hauling yourself out of bed in the middle of he night for?
Do the Swiss really buy into this sort of thing?
OH's colleague is going to check it out and he usually doesn't get into the office until about 9.30 so he must think it's worth it. We live 5 minutes away and quite frankly don't think it's worth losing sleep over.
It reminds me of the boxing day sales in the UK with people queueing outside for a bargain.
The official opening of the new centre (which has actually been open for a couple of years) is 11/11/11 at 11.11 am. How corny is that. The number one bus (they should renumber it the number 11 I think) will be free of charge for travel to Marin on that day and they are going to rename the bus stop. From now on the stop will be called ... wait for it ....... Marin Centre.
