Re: Looking for a wax in Zurich or Aargau

never even crossed my mind that there might be threading here in Lugano....after reading this thread, i am hopeful. Can anyone recommend a place to get threaded (eyebrows) in Lugano?

Re: Looking for a wax in Zurich or Aargau

Bad news alert!

Bianca, the all-thumbs-up recommendation at Vanity, is leaving. This is her final week there. I got a last minute appointment Thursday (absurdly early for a bikini wax), but for future trials will give her colleagues a go - Mimosa I've read, is choice number 2.

Just thought I'd share that with all of you Brazilian-bikini-frauen.

And also wanted to extend my warm thank-you's to all of you for starting and continuing this thread!

Note that Mimosa is at the Baur Au Lac Vanity. Not the one near the Stoeckerstrasse tram stop.

Re: Looking for a wax in Zurich or Aargau

Hi I am new to Zurich, where is Celesta exactly located in Zurich?

Checked out Vanity. G! at least double what I used to pay in top salon in the UK.

Also can anyone recommend a hairdresser in Zurich/ Enge area for an English speaking hairdresser for cut and highlights. I used to pay 55 GBP for cut and 60 GBP for highlights for long hair.

Cheers, Fezza

Right, I checked out the website for Celeste, Looks great and more affordable the only problem is too far from Wollishofen (where I live) So anyone can recommend somewhere near where I live - Enge - Zurich city center etc?

Thanks

Obviously I've been lurking on this thread mainly because I'm a shameless perv, but how does sugaring differ from waxing?

Be brave

The link above takes you right there... it's eazy-peazy.. but do it slow, no rush. Don't forget to avoid locked doors and check behind corners...

I have just discovered Coiffina in Jermoli for hair colour/cut and waxing for the hairs that cant be styled (www.coiffina.ch) they're cheap and efficient and do a really good job. They also have loyalty cards and you get a free product after ten treatments.

Re: Looking for a wax in Zurich /Aargau /Winterthur

hi everyone,
I found a fantastic place in zurich city center for waxing.
it's called Beauty Care, Strehlgasse 29, 8001 Zurich, Telefon; 044 212 12 77.
Been going there last few months and girls both of the girls I had are great in a relaxing athmosphore.
And it is a lot cheaper then many places in Zurich. I am paying 70 franks for bikini and under arm.
Good luck and let me know how you get on.

Fezza
