Re: Looking for a wax in Zurich /Aargau /Winterthur

Zoro,

Tis the first sun of the season...

You could try www.feelbeautiful.ch -> Gabriela Schneider. I managed to get an appointment yesterday.

She does speak english and you might want to check her prices on the phone.

She's at bellevue.

Cheers,
Nanda

Reporting on my waxing experience with artofbody: the sugar paste is really better than hot wax. It hurt a little less I think and was faster.

Re: Looking for a wax in Zurich /Aargau /Winterthur

Deindeal.ch is currently having a deal of CHF98 for leg-sugaring and brazilian at

Art of Body
Bahnhofstr. 108
8001 Zürich

The site's simple - you buy a coupon online and then you ring the place to make an appointment, mentioning that you have the coupon and that's it.

I don't know how long this deal goes for. It might just be for today.

Right, have just been, am smooth as a baby's bottom.. absolutely FANTASTIC. Info for the ladies: she's thorough, caters to as much or as little as you want left down there

Kosmetikstudio L
Weite Gasse 16 (1st floo)
5400 Baden

Tel: 056-210 91 00

Ask for Elena, she is the best and it didn't cost the earth and I know she is a very good beautician.

They take EC cards, for those who might ask.

In Zurich:

Labo Spa is very nice but it takes an hour and costs about CHF 100.

Celeste Cosmetics takes about 15 minutes and is CHF 50. They are very good.

Re: Looking for a wax in Zurich /Aargau /Winterthur

I found a great waxing place in Zurich that for once has reasonable prices. A Brazilian bikini wax is only CHF55 and isn't done by a student.

It's yourbeauty and is found on Asylstrasse 67, right at Roemerhof. Jacqueline, who is the only one there, is really competent and efficient. She speaks fluent English, for those of you who need it.

You can even book appointments through e-mail or her website. http://www.your-beauty-event.ch/en

I was impressed, so I thought I'd let you guys know.

Also, she does manicures, massages, all that jazz (even for you men out there).

hey ladies, i tried amania cosmetics (she posted here before) and i just want to give some feedback of how happy i am.

she's an organic/holistic beautician and for waxing she's using the sugaring method which is totally different from the normal warm wax. i've been for a brazilian three times now and last week i did my first facial (i mean ever!) she has a new organic line in with only fresh aloe vera ingredients, so i was curious. i must admit, it really works a treat

i can only recommend her and definitely her new aloe vera line!
Yeah~ 2 thumbs up for Keyah (Amania Cosmetics). I've been having hot wax for my BW.. first time for sugaring wax and have to say it's so much better and she's fast, it took only 30mins!!

The ambience is excellent as well. Will definitely go back again.

Price wise.. well it's never going to be cheap in Zurich, so CHF65 is very reasonable.

Highly recommended to all ladies.

I agree with recommendations for Keyah and her salon Amania; she's brilliant and her sugaring really is less painful than waxing.
For deals, I always check DeinDeal and Groupon; they often have something or other beauty related on.

Don t lie Stephanwolf. . . I have seen you there after a fresh brazilian

I get waxed at Celeste Cosmetic. They are friendly and I get a brazilian wax (Brazilian Tango as they call it in Switzerland) for around 45 CHF.

All of the girls are good. Mary is fantastic, if you get the choice ask for her.

Hope that helps,
Darkphoenix

Re: A Question for the Ladies???

I suggest you try using a hair removal cream. Something like crotex which permanently gets rid of unwanted hair.

There has been a complete change of cosmeticians there (Celeste) - none of the original ladies are there and Mary has left Celeste about a yr ago... also the prices went up for brazilian to about 95 francs...

Re: Looking for a wax in Zurich /Aargau /Winterthur

Hi, since we're talking about this I'd like to ask if anyone knows where I can buy wax to do it by myself. Last time I went to a place I paid 180CH (legs and brazilian bikini) and I'm really thinking about doing it at home! If you know any place where I can find the material please tell me! Thanks
