not sure where to post this so i thought i'd try off-topic?
does anybody know of a party discount store similar to Partycity? We are getting married next week and having an untraditional wedding (basically just a party) at a private residence and I'd like to browse for decorations. Just not too sure where to do that?

i posted earlier on the offtopic general forum for help finding a discount party store similar to PartyCity in the US, but it hasn't gotten very much traffic so i am trying my luck in the market place.

we are getting married next week and are hosting a party at a private residence. i am hoping to find a store where I can find some party decorations (table cloths, napkins, streamers etc). anybody know of anything?

Manor on Bahnhofstrasse has quite a large selection. Coop City is not too bad either. Or try your local Papeterie (stationer's).

I've merged the two threads and put them into Help and tips > Other/General where they belong. Off Topic is basically for things which are not directedly connected with Switzerland. If you are looking for something here, then your question is a valid Swiss one.

A slightly different title might have helped too. Not everyone on here is from the USA and I, for one, hadn't the faintest idea what Partycity is. Of course, I could open up and read the post, but you if want something from others, it helps your cause if you make their life easier.
