I have shopped at Pfister department store in Lucerne and absolutley enjoyed all the home decor and furniture items....just curious if anyone also enjoy a browse through, really wished we had Pfister in Canada?? Anyone work for the company at pfister.ch able to give an answer. For example, Ikea made it to Canada, why not Pfister??

Re: Shopping at Pfister

Pfister has very beautiful things (I've been in the one in Zurich), but compared to IKEA, they are much, much more pricey (I also think the quality is better, IMO) which might make it harder for them to compete in overseas markets.

Re: Shopping at Möbel Pfister

Oh wow. Coming from the US and walking into Pfister, even taking Zurich-price into account, I felt a tremendous amount of 'sticker shock.'

Re: Shopping at Möbel Pfister

My favourite is Schubiger. In terms of price they're about where Pfister is but in terms of design they're much less run of the mill.
