Hi all,

Does anybody know of a shop that can print/plot to A2 paper in the Zürich area? There is a little shop near my flat (Wipkingen) but their English skills are as good as my German skills...and we were unable to communicate the specifics.

Working via email and post would be a bonus...

Not exactly what your requirements are (volume, speed, budget etc), but Scott on this forum does large format printing. I know A2 isn't exactly massive, but I've used him in the past to do some posters for me in the past. As you know I'm pretty particular and he worked with me to get the right results. Only downside is if you need it immediately it's not possible. But he generally gets it to the post office and you'll usually have it to the next day.

There's a friendly place at Limmatplatz, opposite the Post Office. I've had some work done there and they were very *patient*. Also had experience with a place in Seefeld, between Höschgasse and Fröhlichstrasse tramstops on Seefeldstrasse. Friendly, fast and reasonably affordable. Or call Scott

Thanks guys. I should have specificed a bit more: I need to print software class diagram documents...so the type of place would be printing CAD stuff. Scott's site seems to be very photography oriented. I think I'll try Uncle Max's place first.

Depends - i've also used it for signage, etc. At the end of the day they are all printers printing at about 600dpi - photos or diagrams, not much difference - all depends on the material selected. Unless of course you are talking about plotting, in which case different kettle of fish entirely.
