Singing coach/lessons in or around Zurich

Hi!

I am getting married in March and as my future husband loves to hear me
sing I was thinking of surprising him with a song instead of a speech. Would anyone know of a good singer/teacher who could help me with this īprojectī :-) ?

Thank you for your help!

I can recommend Tanya Birri from FeMale Funk Project, she's a really positive, supportive person with such great energy. She would love your idea and the school hosts events where you can practice getting rid of your stage nerves if you have them. She coaches a friend of mine and he's really made great progress in a short time although he's not one of those people with natural musical ability, so if you already have a good voice, it'll be a breeze. A course of five lessons comes in at CHF 450.-.

Sadly the website is only in German but feel free to PM me with any questions.

I recommend Samia Afra who teaches out of Bremgarten where I have my guitar studio. I can PM you her details if you want or check out http://www.xangsart.ch/

Very good coach for reasonable money, I worked with a singer who had coaching there before I met Samia and was very impressed.

Do you sing that well that others would love to hear you sing as well or is your future husband just being polite?

My kids love to hear me sing but my wife hates it. (And no doubt they will too when they're a bit older).

Well Tom, I am not sure....letīs just hope our friends will like the idea of me singing for my future husband, if it sounds that bad its at least the thought that counts

I'm sure you'll be fine - I was thinking of those deluded X-factor types.

Good luck with the singing and the wedding.

Dear Lyke

Singing is beatiful, wonderful and a very nice experience. I believe that if you sing from your heart then your guest will love it. And I am sure that if Luciano Pavarotti had asked himself if everybody loves him singing, then he would not have become a master.

Good luck, have a wonderful wedding and have a great performance.
