Calling musicians in Zug

Hi all,

I am a guitar player, living in Zug, with a number of years experience behind me and would like to get back in the game - play/jamming with others again!

I mostly play blues/rock genres, acoustic stuff, but I am open to all suggestions.

Do you know of any good Swiss forums for musicians seeking musicians?

Thanks

Re: Calling musicians in Zug

I haven't been playing originals in about 10years now, so all covers in the recent years... and have been out of the loop for a year or so now.

anything from the Doors to Clapton, Hendrix to Foo fighters, Van Morrison to Paul Weller... and all shades between lol

It kind of is.

A pimp 'fully accousticly treated' recording studio with the possibility of paid and/or colab work.

Get a free account on www.soundcloud.com and upload some audio.

Then send me a pm with links to your page and also youtube links.

Re: Calling musicians in Zug

I will see what I can scrape together.
I have just moved to Zug, and picked up a(nother) new guitar a few months ago since my arrival.

I don't have my amp here yet, but have my laptop, irig etc

will be in touch.

Cheers for the response.

What is it you are looking to learn and I can point you in some direction if you want?

I would love to go down this route of teaching guitar one day, but I would not have the time to commit to this currently!

Thanks

Re: Calling musicians in Zug

I just moved here from Florida and am in Luzern - not to far from Zug ( we are actually looking in Zug for apts). I play guitar and sing and have an acoustic here - looking to bring my Les Paul and amp next go round from the states. I am into all types but would love to do some acoustic blues/rock ala Stones, Led Zep, Neil Young, Faces etc and jam with some cool folks. Really want to find or build a good community of musicians and get together for fun and some gigs. I play by ear and am good enough to solo but understand that Keith Richards built quite a few tasty tunes playing greasy rhythm and would much rather play tight with others than wailing alone

Hi there, here is Andre from luzern,I saw your posts so I decided to join ya and see what happens....i am no professionist, just a Music Lover,I'm actually rehearsing with a Rock band, every once in a while, but I always loved the acoustic side to Music too,so I'd like to share some Music moments with people who like the same...I like to sing and do chorus,I can play guitar by ear(but when there is somebody who can do it properly,I leave it up to him/them,while I enjoy the singing side)..I love a lot of Music genres, and would really like to warm up this Swiss Weather by making music the most we can ,and maybe give some cool moments to others too so,if you feel the same you know what to do!
See Ya!

Hey Andre this is Rick,

Give me a call on my cell when you have a chance - 076-681-9227 and we can chat about when/where you might want to get together. I have a pretty broad base of tastes as well and am really looking to connect with folks and jam some with the possibility of playing out every once in a while so sounds like fun! I live about 10 minutes bus ride from the train station on the lake by the Hotel Seeburg and right now am looking for a job with plenty of time on my hands

Re: Calling musicians in Zug

Just seeing the updates on this thread now!
Good to see some movement here. I have a guitar and amp with me in Zug, but havent alot of time to play at the minute. I hope to bring my acoustic back with me on my next trip home, and will be sure to meet up for a jam, if even just for the fun of it.
