... speaking personally I am always delighted to help out people to save them going through the worrying and miscomprehension that I went through (and still go through) on so many occasions, but it would be nice if people could help themselves a little- like a more expansive first post (perhaps copying out the words you were stuck on) or even, dare I say it, looking in the little paper dictionnary first?
It's just a thought ....

To be fair, the guy might never even have come across the concept of roadside clothes collections/charity so it mght make no sense at all to him.
He could have been slightly more expansive but I'm guessing the English is not an easy language for him.
