Discounts from Transa outdoor shop?

I am planning to do a bit of a adventure later this year and visited the Transa shop for a poke around. They said that recently they had adverts in a few magazines and their own brochure (which they ran out of) giving 20 chf back for every 100 chf spent.

Has anyone here just happened to spot these vouchers anywhere, as I am having no luck in finding them?

Re: Discounts from Transa outdoor shop?

TBH transa have very high prices, you can easily find the items for cheaper if you look around a little.

if you earn a fortune or just want to get everything in 1 place without any leg work then thats a different matter

Re: Discounts from Transa outdoor shop?

If you know what you are specifically looking to buy, then I'd recommend trying the Transa outlet, which is near Central in Zurich. I'd also recommend going to the Migros sport/outdoor, the one in Sihlcity seems to have a good selection.

I also picked up a cheap kids 'mummy' shaped sleeping bag, at Migros Brunau Park, which wasn't on offer at Migros Outdoor, so be aware that they definitely manipulate the range of what is available depending on the location of the store...

You might do just as well to try the EF - lots of people have outdoors stuff that they don't want. The other suggestion is to try shoes/boots etc, for the sizing and fit, then order online or purchase over the border... Maybe...

Thanks rob. Actually, the items I am after are slightly specialised and although I could maybe get a small discount elsewhere, it would not be much. As some of the items are bicycle specific and the guy there is especially helpful, I am happy to buy at Transa but of course these vouchers would equate to a 20% discount so not to be sniffed at and I would like to find out where they are lurking.

Thanks for the suggestion but the outlet or Migros will not have what i need.

Basically I am not looking for alternative shops, I am just asking if anyone has come across these Transa vouchers, or, if they should do so, can they be kind enough to let me know where!
