ETH Masters

Hi everyone,

I am an international student who got accepted to study for a maters degree in mechanical engineering at ETH.The major problem is that I didn't get any major scholarship for it and the living cost in Zurich seem to be too much. Are there ways to live near the uni cheaply?. Also is it worth going for the masters in mechanical at ETH? I have been accepted to some other uni which are much cheaper and some which are completely covering my cost(though these ones are not even in the top 50).

So in summary
>is it worth paying all this money for this degree (the estimate in the university brochure was about 1815 francs)

>Are there ways to reduce ur cost and expenses?

Thanks for all your replies in advance
cheers

Re: ETH Masters

ETH has good reputation compared to other universities in Europe, I personally would prefer ETH.

Yes, the cost of living in Zurich are very high, I think the amount you mentioned is on safer side, but if you really want to you can live with 1200-1300 CHF. You can also work part time here.
